NUS R&D Research Engineer/Assistant
Position Environment
 A successful candidate will be working on a Full Time basis.
 An initial 3 month probationary period applies to this job position.
 Two years contract.
 The position is effective from NOW.
Reporting Relationship
 The position reports to the PI of the Research Project.
Core Responsibilities
 Work closely with PI
 Build up and test prototype Laser based optical system
 Programming and automating optical system
 Coordinate materials and equipments for this research project
 Component and material buy and sourcing for this research project
 Poster and PPT preparation for system demo for this research project
Requirements:
Essential
 Singapore Citizen
 Preferably a Master Degree in Physics, Electric Engineering or Computer Science from prestigious institution
 1-3 years relevant experience in similar works
 Fresh graduate (Degree EEE or equivalent) with exceptional capabilities may apply
 Excellent in understanding semiconductor fabrication process
 Ability to read prints, schematics and component specifications
 Hand on experience in electronic and optical assembly
 Knowledgeable in computer skills, Labview is mostly preferred
 Able to work independently, self-motivated, creative with good communication skill
 An individual with a keen eye to detail
 Strong interests in improving current technologies and exploring new technologies
Desirable
 Willingness to PhD study in NUS
